Name; Alistair Frost
Nicknames; Shadow, The Blind Demon, The Fallen, Devil's Child.
Age; Unknown
Place of birth; Unknown
Species; Demon Possessed Human
Physical appearance;
Before he was subjugated to the torments of his captors, Alistair was said to brandish features able to melt the heart of a woman with ease, revealing a muscular build with a tanned skin tone, as well as being gifted with the most beautiful of eyes. However after he sealed his fate, and ‘the pact’ was made, his appearance has underwent dramatic changes, turning him into something far more demonic. His eyes once fair and breathtaking in their own right, now scorched and destroyed due to the sheer chaotic energy coursing through his body, replacing his eye’s with emerald flames glowing like stars in the night. As such he conceals his mutilated eye sockets with a blindfold made from a dark mundane-looking cloth. His skin tone, now altered to the point of being a pale greyish colour, making it seems as if all life has been sucked out of him. Even the blood coursing throughout his veins is no longer the crimson hue of humans, instead his cold heart now pumps blackened blood with a corrosive nature to that which comes into contact with, Alistair is merely a dark tainted shell of his former self, outfitted in dark combat trousers and boots with a long black leather trench coat to match bearing the mark of order who made him in the form of a blood red cross, as well as having the symbol branded underneath his left eye… Alistair's appearance is nothing short of both dark and menacing.
Personality;
Once a kind and gentle soul, Alistair is now merely a twisted shell of his former self. Having spent most of his life in darkness being honed as a weapon for the religious fanatics who made him into what he is, he carries a deep seething hatred for demons and humans alike, those who would prey on the weak and the helpless, brandishing an almost fanatical obsession for eradicating all things foul and demonic, even himself he considers to be nothing more then and abomination. Being what he is, those aware of his nature have shunned and resented him throughout the course of his existence. As such Alistair is a cold hearted individual at best, and even more silent than the emptiness of the void, lest he believes the conversation to be worthwhile. Thus few can boast having ever exchanged words with this mysterious and shadowy warrior, though when he speaks, it is clear that there is more to him than simply chaos and death, as well as revealing great wisdom in his words, however in much wisdom, there is much grief.
In battle however, his persona has a habit of changing dramatically from the quiet and reserved individual, to a fiendish warrior with a ravenous hunger for battle and the complete annihilation of his foe through what ever means, a trait which only seems to progress the more dangerous the battle, and it is in this moment, that one cannot tell who is in control, man or devil. Ever since the joining with the demon, these two have been locked in an endless struggle for control over this shared husk of flesh and blood… a struggle which he might loose at any moment. As such it is not unnatural that he might appear to converse openly with himself at times, even outwardly shouting to quell the twisted demonic voice filling his mind... anything to ease the notion of being trapped in this never ending battle against a vicious devil, competing for control.
Abilities;
Following his joining with the demon, Alistair is now nothing more then an aberration of the devils influence, and so to are his abilities. The day the two combined, the demons power overflowed his body, a power so vast and unstable that it was never meant for mortal hands, and he was forever changed as a result. His blood while once crimson red and a source of life is now a jet black fluid which has shown the inert ability of corroding anything which it comes into contact with, be it biological or materialistic. In addition to this, the sheer compression of the devils vast powers within Alistair’s body seems to have augmented it completely over the years, enhancing it to the point of granting him a permanent increase of both speed and strength far beyond that of any normal devil, even simple things such as his sense of smell, hearing and reflexes have been heightened to the point of reaching a whole new level of perception… perhaps a sign that this devil will ensure his unwilling and... persistent host, lives long enough to see the day at which he will finally claim his soul completely.
Able to shatter stone with simple punches and kicks and has even shown himself capable of moving faster than the eye can perceive, Alistair has indubitably become a force to be reckoned with….alas the most astonishing change to his physiology, are his eyes.
As a result of the sheer energy of the demon soul within him, his eyes was literally burned out of their sockets, replaced by emerald flames burning vividly in their place. His eyes having long since been atrophied from use and blinded Alistair from the rest of the material world, he has ever since been able to ‘see’ the energy that binds the universe, as if by plunging himself within the darkness, he opened his eyes into a world of light. Whether the demon intended for Alistair to ascertain this seemingly inert ability of its nature remains unknown, either way the deed is done. No longer distracted by the external appearance of things, he is able to see the true nature of all things, and discern the core of their soul and essence with a mere glance of these demonic eyes. Because of this, limitations of the human eye no longer thwart him either; distance, and movement no longer mean anything to his sight. Alas his mutilated sockets have rendered him completely unable to see as mortal eyes are meant to see. He cannot discern colour, hues, or spectrums of light. He is inherently blind to the material world.
Alas for all the power at his disposal, he cannot escape his greatest fear and weakness.. The complete loos of whatever shred of humanity he has managed to preserve.
Even now one can easily see Alistair's control slipping at times, in battle... his blood might start to feel as if to burn like a raging fire, adrenaline rushing through his body, the nature of his fighting prowess changing drastically.. becoming more akin to beast than man… with fangs and claws replacing his somewhat humanoid features.
It is speculated that the weaker he grows, the greater the demons hold over him becomes, if he looses control, if his focus should falter... the devil will cease its chance for control.. and find its way to the surface.
In this moment, Alistair as a man... will be gone, his body undergoing a painful transformation, overtaken by the dark form of the devil... releasing the untold power of the demon lord Azdoal. Until he can once again find the strength within himself to suppress this other entity, he will remain a slave to the will of Azdoal, forced to watch helplessly as the evil within him unleashes its terror. With no control over when this change might occur, Alistair is highly unstable as well as deadly.
