Vexzeleratus Ka Lagurus... that was the giant's name, a long and unwieldly name for a large and unwieldly frame, though this was an intimidating and powerful being... A voice entered into his head, telling him to escape, he moved slowly at first, quietly shuffling. "hhhh-k.... hhhh-k.... hhhh-k...." Abd-Al's breathing went shallow, then he held his breath, becoming like a ghost, devoid of noise, the fabric of his robe shifted a little as he moved from the wall slowly, not making any noises as he softly stepped heel to toe, heel to toe... inching closer and closer to the door. The Bedouin would not be taken down, he was free, one of the last free humans out there, and he would not give that freedom up to the likes of these demons.
His hand still clenched around the handle of his sword, knuckles white under his heavy gloves, Bedouin continued to shift towards the door, as soon as his shadow appeared along the pale lights cast by the sun's rays he turned and quickly bolted, his footsteps echoing through the main hall briefly as he vanished through the doorframe into the daylight, his cloak flowing behind him.

The urge to blow Maricul’s head off was strong.
So strong.
So tempting.
NO! Must resist.
However a little prodding never hurt anybody. Zira pressed the barrel’s tip of Ivory against Maricul’s forehead, pushing her back with the gun while threatening to blow her head off with it.
“You will speak when spoken to, servant!”
Yeah that felt good. Treating Maricul like shit that is. The Dark Princess turned her attention back on the vampire just in time to hear his introduction.
“You may call me General Firestone. Any reason in particular why you have come to this island or are you just enjoying the sights?”
Zira very much doubted about the latter. Looking around the human was gone, good. That was one less concern to worry about. Now it was time to deal with this vampire. One vampire in the castle was bad enough, Zira didn’t need two.

The Seductress was tempted to laugh in the face of Ivory but she managed to resist that urge and keep on the act she was trying to sell to everybody else. "Y-yes, Princess. Of course, Princess. Forgive me, Princess." She bowed and then in a single instant vanished without so much as a single trace. Reappearing outside the castle and in front of Bedouin with a smile on her face. An invisible barrier around her body created by her protected her from the rays of the sunlight and often assisted in helping her to prove to others that she wasn't a vampire. A fine tool magic could be, a fine tool indeed.
"So, you still want to see the place that hope goes to die, or have the great behemoth inside scared you off? I should hope not, Dante's tomb is quite the sight to behold. Nothing like his father who actually managed to defeat Mundus. It's a shame the Legendary Dark Knight is dead. Perhaps if he was still alive this would not have happened." Maricul did seem to enjoy the sound of her own voice. "Oh goodness me where are my manners? I almost forgot to introduce myself. My name is Maricul and who might you be?" Oh yes, Zira could have the great behemoth that remains inside the castle, Maricul would speak with the regular sized human.

Vexzel knew a faker when he saw one, Maricul might as well have 'LAIR' printed on her forehead. His younger siblings, if they could be called as such, used similar acts all too well. As for the human, Vexzel knew without even looking at him that he'd be inching toward the door. A human prioritizing survival had few other choices. However, Vexzel would let him leave. There was something interesting about this one, it seemed wasteful just to kill him
This trip was half sight-seeing half ulterior motive. If things escalated and he got the chance to kill the son on Mundus who was said to reside here all the better.
"I'll admit I'm not here just for sight-seeing." The light voice had a slight German accent.... along with a subtle malevolence, like a well trained assassin with murder on his mind. More importantly, he didn't seem to care he was adressing a person of rank. The other reason? "Mundus' children for example." If General Firestone gave the orders in this corrupt world, she was either a very skilled demon or one of Mundus' foul descendants.
He didn't think it would be easy, but he pondered how much it would take to kill this woman...... If she made this encounter violent. If he'd come to kill her obviously his sword would have been drawn by now.

Bedouin stared at maricul, the light still catching the lenses of his goggles, "shhh-K! shhh-K! shhh-K!" his breathing had returned to normal, the mask filtering his air for him. He stared at the woman, his mask filter rattling as his head tilted to one side. Her solilique was interesting, hearing this being who appeared before him though he last saw her in that mansion as she talked about the world that could have been. She asked his name and gave hers. "maricul..." each sylable seemed a little strained, and his mask did not entirely cover that deep, swarthy, arabianesque accent. The Nomad turned his head back, his form relaxing but his hands still clutching his weapon's handle and scabbard, He gave the name he was called by the demons.
"They call me... Bedouin." He turned his head a little again, his form relaxing a little more, his robe shifting uneavenly as his hands move away from his weapon. "you wish... to show me the tomb?"

Thanks whatever entity still exists in this world.
Maricul was gone.
Now it was just her and this other vampire. It wasn’t surprising to see his business here had something to do with Mundus’ children. Getting the feeling that things may get ugly some time soon she kept her guard up, even if her weapons were down for the time being. The man was outside, sadly not far away from Maricul by what she can sense. Maricul wouldn’t do anything stupid like drink from him with her nearby, she was sure of it.
“What business do you have with the children of Mundus?”
