Name; Abd-Al-Amin
Nicknames; The Nomad, The Bedouin, Arwa, Baqir, Bahadur
Age; unknown
Place of birth; unknown, speculated iraq/jarusalem/egypt region
Species; human(?)
Physical appearance; The Beduin wears a very distinct hooded cloak and partially armored survival suit, designed to protect him from physical harm and the ravaged world around him. under his hood is a distinctive breather mask, producing a very loud "h-shhh-K! h-shhh-K!" as he breathes. Bedouin never removes this mask. The mask slurs and muffles what little words he speaks, some time making him seem incoherant. as well as the mask, There are a pair of leather-bound reflective goggles, tinted to protect his eyes and completely conceal all his skin. He wears gloves and thick cloth as well, completely obscuring himself, if it really is a "him" under all that, no one has seen even one hair, even a shred of the Bedouin's skin.
Personality; not much to say here, a stoic survivalist. The Nomad is one of the few humans who hasn't been tamed, hasn't given in to Mundus. The Bedouin is quiet and unobtrusive most of the time, remaining distant and observing when near people and roaming free when out in the blasted expanses. Pragmatism runs deep for Abd-al-amin, taking what little he needs and discarding the chaff of his efforts. Abd-al-Amin adapts, when the demons took over he didn't fight, but accepted and continued to live.
Beneath that quiet, pragmatic shell lies a sleeping power. Woe befalls those who dare awaken the sleeper. Despite being a mere human (or at least smelling like one) The Bedouin is a fierce warrior, his survival means everything and he will fight tooth and nail when threatened. At times he may even lash out without seemingly provoked, suddenly flying into what seems to be a zealous rage, or playfully picking fights and toying with others. Why (s)he does this is unknown, as the Nomad gives no signs, or at least gives no signs that can be read through the layers of their heavy outfit.
Abilities; The Bedouin has mastered many skills in his life, his body hardened by the elements and through a lifetime of travel, and he's an undenyable expert at armed and unarmed combat. He is also a crack shot with almost any weapon you put in his hand (except for pistols but that's because of the nature of handguns opposed to the skills of the shooter)
Bedouin owns, operates, and maintains and old desert buggy, using it for long distance travel.
Abd-Al-Amin wears a specially designed suit, providing mild body armor while, more importantly, recycling the body's water. With this suit, Bedouin's chances of survival without supplies is vastly increased, so long as he remembers to keep it cleaned and maintained. His robes and cloak add further protection, the flowing fabric making him seem much larger than he is, and making him harder to hit as layers of cloth and air can soften the blows. Your shots will miss him and your blades may get caught in his sleeves.
Alignment; Neutral
Affiliation; None
Weapons; The Bedouin wields a traditional Jezail rifle, though he has modified it to be bolt action and fed a clip of ten high powered sniper rounds. This weapon is designed to put a nasty hole through the newest threat to the Nomad's existence: Demons.
The Bedouin Also carries a large Kilij sword, reputed for it's efficiency and design, broad slashes and strokes from this blade are capable of severing limbs and in some cases even splitting people in half with a single blow.
The Nomad carries at least two KABAR military knives in his robes, both for survival use as well as weapons. Be they thrown or wielded in the main or off hand.
History;
Very little is known of this man, his real name only known by him, called The Bedouin or The Nomad by others, yet fellow humans who have taken to the nomadic life call him Bahadur or Baqir or Arwa out of respect. He appeared from the blasted lands around the ruins of Cairo, travelling via dessert buggy. There are those who claimed the Bedouin was a vagrant who survived the war between heaven and hell on earth, and those who claimed he was the prophet muhammed returned to save his people, though both stories are more than likely false.
The Bedouin has been called both a man and a woman, though it is unknown which is true, and has been accused of being both demon or human, though neither can be confirmed. The Nomad travels though, this is what is true, and at times Abd-Al-Amin has been known to attack demons, harrassing them before vanishing back whense he came. The lands around fortuna and mortis suited the wanderer just as much as his native home of the middle east, waterless expanses with red skies. It is unknown how he does it but The Bedouin has managed to enter and exit the City of Mortis on many occasions without being seen at the main gates. Furthermore it is unknown how the Nomad procures the money he uses to purchase goods within the city.
All that is known is that The Bedouin appears to be a constant, a single fact in the world around him, changing ever so slightly yet remaining unchanged, a statement made by humanity during hell on earth.
