Life sucks.
Here she was with a bottle of vodka in one hand and a cigarette in the other, dragging her feet across the ground wandering the ruined European-like city drunk. Alexis had no reason to live other than just for the hell of it and to spite those that tried to kill her. Everything went to hell and within that hell everybody went to Mortis. Nobody of importance cared about this island other than a couple of lower-class demons that came here to kill. The creatures that ruled over it were more low-class than the visitors, what did that tell you? It's like somebody, somewhere, disowned this place because it was so horrible they just wanted to forget about it. Most of the time it was just her wandering and drinking. Nobody to annoy her and no bartenders to cut her off after she had one too many drinks. "I need...." Alexis looked over to the wall of a clocktower, the only thing that stood in the city and approached it. "To piss."
Alexis took off the lower half of her attire and pressed her hands up against the wall of this clock tower leaning against it right before she marked her territory on the ground below. "Women can't pee standing up, my ass." Alexis put her underwear and pants back on before continuing her stroll through the city.

Skaven was finally out in the field again. He missed the good old days, when humans still had their fire in them. They used to actually try to fight the demons, how quaint! The first battle lasted mere hours, the campaign a few months. The Rat Demon pulled himself over several obstacles, his clawed feet clutching and his hands pulling as he scurried through the rubble. He remembered the fiery rocks falling from the sky, humans carrying rifles and spears, axes and machineguns, swords and pistols, screaming as they failed to stop the horde. He licked his lips a little thinking of the ones that bled, the ones he had made turn on their own forces, the children he threw to cerberus... Those were the good old days. Something in him stirred, that spontaneous, cruel, cackling inner-demon that slept while he was thinking about his fun.
He spotted her, walking away from the mark she left on the wall. Skaven didn't know chicks could piss standing up! She smelled broken, of booze and smoke, distracting herself form the world around her, crushed like every other human... She'd have to do, he needed some fun. Maybe he'd chase her with his blades and feel her terror, smell the fear over the stench of her distractions, maybe he'd simply catch her and carve her up, or chase her into a dark room and breathe his locomotive breath, letting her writhe and cough to death...
Skaven moved over the wall, form hunched, cloak slowly shifting over his body, those black eyes of his glinting as light reflected from them, he emerged from the shadows and slowly crawled along, then stood on his hind legs, his feet pattering across the blasted pavement as he approached the human. "You, Human..." He addressed her with a course, rasping voice, stern but lacking emotions, not threatening yet authoritarian. He straightened his back, trying to look as regal as a rat in royal garb could.

Alexis turned her head, brown eyes now looking the rat demon over as she arched an eyebrow at his appearance. What on earth was this thing supposed to be Master Splinter on crack? Years ago Alexis would have thought this image was something her drunken state had created but nowadays it was more likely to be real than something her mind, even in an intoxicated state, could have created. Bringing the cigarette to her lips and holding it with her mouth freed that hand while the other one still held the vodka. "Yeah? What do you want?"

oh, no she didn't. no she didn't. She doesn't know who she's dealing with! how droll! "you're drunk, human." He took a few steps closer, still standing to his full height, he was almost as tall as a normal human when he didn't hunch over, his tail lazily dragging and the barbed head ringing as it scraped the pavement. The Rat Demon's pays hung down at his sides, they didn't look quite natural there, though nothing about a large rat seemed natural. He slowly slinked closer still, those eyes of his flashing as the light danced over his all-black gaze, his yellow teeth smiling slightly. "you do not know who I am..."
He moved his hand towards her, quickly trying to grasp her bare flesh. If he could get his hand around her arm, on her neck, he could release his venom, letting it sink into her skin and weaken her will, making his words seem as natural as her own thoughts yet as powerful as the commanding voice of god himself. "What is your name, Human?"

Alexis just giggled at being called drunk. To her she was still far from drunk but give her a couple more hours and she'd be totally wasted. "Not yet but I'm working on it!" She took another sip but stopped when he asked her a question. The man didn't look familiar and in all honesty Alexis didn't give a shit who he was. When he saw his hand reach out for her she reacted out of instinct, slamming the bottle of vodka onto his head, breaking the glass upon his skull as the remaining vodka poured down his head. "No touchy!" Her free hand which have been absent this whole time came back as it now held a lighter, sparkling a flames towards the vodka looking to set his face on fire. That would show him to try to touch her as she backed away.

Skaven shook his head, some red forming on his fur, the bottle shattered over his head making his ears ring as the alcohol ran over him. He saw the lighter drawing closers, the single glow almost inticing him as his ears rung and his vision blurred. He gave a small puff, blowing out the lighter. his hand snapped up and clasped hers, his venom coursing onto her skin. "no burny, vermin." Skaven licked his lips, staring at the human.
She would start to feel a tingling, then the tingling would become a slight numb-ness, mixed with an indescribable warm and good feeling, a sort of high from his touch.

Alexis still had the broken vodka bottle in her hand, and broken glass tended to be sharp. As soon as he blew her lighter out Alexis swung the sharp edge of the vodka bottle, slicing his throat and kicking him away before he could touch her. Alexis was ignorant to whatever that venom thing was, she just didn't want to be touched. However even in a drunken state Alexis knew when one of these "demons" touched you it was bad news. Without further ado Alexis did a one-eighty and split, LITERALLY! She spun around and ran away, putting the lighter away but keeping the broken vodka bottle in hand in case she needed to stab something.

"ahhh-hk-hk-hk-k-k-k-k!" he sputtering cough of a throat full of blood. Red started to form on the front of his throat, matting Skaven's fur as he hacked up some of the dark-red liquid. He could feel that demonic healing kicking in, his throat slowly closing back up and the wound sealing as he sputtered "p-p-p-p-p" and spat "p'tagh!" the last of the blood out. The woman had gotten quite far away from him and wounded him twice... Skaven grinned, it was just like the old days. The Rat demon got on all fours and started to run, slowly gaining. His tail swung absent-mindedly behind him, slashing and pulling on various parts of debris like a wild and flailing anchor.

Nothing like the threat of impending doom to sober you up. Alexis ran as fast as her legs could carry her down the ruins of this once beautiful city. She tucked away the broken piece of glass and drew the S&M Military and Police 9mm out of her jacket, turning around in the midst of her run and unloading two shots towards the chest of the rat demon before turning back around and continuing on her run. The bullets serving as nothing more than a desperate attempt to slow her predator down and create enough space between them to get away.

Skaven ducked, knowing how painful real firearms could be, he abhored the loud, uncivilized things. Dante used guns, though his were pitifully weak... The Rat Demon ducked the first bullet when he dropped to all fours, the second tore a hole in his right ear, it wouldn't have been as bad- well it hurt like hell but it wasn't bad... That is, if it wasn't for the fact that the bullet kept going and ripped into his shoulder, wedging under his shoulder blade, it wouldn't have been bad.
"AAAAAAGH!"
Skaven missed a step, his body rolling through and that dark red blood of his splattering and smearing across the pavement of the ruined city as he tumbled back to his four paws and kept running, he had lost ground and was having trouble keeping pace, his front-paw limping now that every movement he made was agony with it. His demonic healing would force the bullet out eventually, but he was seriously hindered, once gaining now barely keeping pace.
"When I catch you, HUMAN, I will do such fantastically cruel things to you!"

Things were about to get worse for Skaven.
Up from above a female covered from head to toe in black fell down from the sky, landing on her feet and now blocking the rat demon’s path from the human he was hunting.
Two silver 9mm pistols were pulled out of their hoists and now aimed upon the demon. The mask completely covered both Zira’s face and her hair so Skaven could not recognize her, her weapons also different so nothing can be traced back to her. Zira unleashed a storm of bullets towards the rat demons, putting her own power into the guns to increase the damage they would inflict on impact.

A hit and a scream! That meant the thing could get hurt and if it could get hurt then it could die. Alexis never let up on her run, she would run until she couldn't run anymore and Alexis hoped that wouldn't be any time soon. As she turned around again in the midst of her run to shoot some more until somebody fell from the sky and landed between herself and the demon. Alexis stopped her run for a moment and watch the stranger, cloaked in black, open fire at the demon. Then it occurred to her, why wasn't she running now? This was the distraction she needed. Alexis turned around and continued to run for it, hoping that the stranger would hold the demon off long enough to give herself enough time to get away.

"WHAT THE FU-" the barrage of bullets, backed by demonic energy, ripped into Skaven. The first five bullets hit his armor, demon-bone lamellar, and managed to either deflect harmlessly or crumple against the small metal plates, laced together. It was the next ten rounds that missed the plates, biting his head, ripping through his arms, scraping bone and tearing meat. Skaven broke from his charge and ducked to the side, dodging more bullets. He inevitably knew his foe would try to draw a bead on him. "aagh..." The Rat Demon gasped, black smoke puffing from his mouth from between spat-up blood, apparantly the wound on his neck had reopened.
Skaven saw the human he was chasing quickly gaining ground he would not be able to regain, instead he felt a burning rage at this new discovery: DEMONIC TURNCOATS! This being had weapons backed with her own demonic energies, yet she was firing on a general of Mundus' armies! "do you have any idea how fun your death will be, Traitor? I promise you I will find a suitable punishment for your acts of high treason." His voice was remarkably stable despite the rage burning inside him, burning so much his Locomotion Breath was acting up, black smoke pouring out of his mouth and seeping from his nose, every time his throat moved the still-open wound would gasp some puffs of that black smoke as it started to spread across the ground. They were out in the open so the fog's effects on this newcomer would be minute, merely aesthetics at this point, but Skaven couldn't help himself, he reached behind himself and drew his two Kindjall blades, waiting to see what his opponent would do.

Zira’s heart skipped a beat at his accusation of treason.
Then she realized that he’d say that to any demons that fought for the humans. He was still ignorant to her identity and that was a good thing. Even though Zira didn’t think her father would believe this rat demon over her if he had gathered enough evidence against her it would mean trouble.
The Dark Princess in disguise aimed her weapons at him again only this time attacking with Rapid Fire. The large amount of bullets came quickly in a short amount of time as they were aimed towards his already open wounds.
