Angelus Aeternus – Click
Personality; Nemamiah is as one might expect an angel to be; friendly and compassionate, he lives by a strict moral code and practises a very strong Christian faith in his everyday life. However, being an angel sent to Earth to pass judgement on a threat from Hell, he is also capable of cold pragmatism, biting sarcasm, and stone-hearted ruthlessness when faced with demons. He knows when to stay his hand, but has no sympathy and little mercy for those who incur his ire.
Abilities;
Alignment; Good
Affiliation; The Rebellion
Weapons; Nemamiah possesses no weapons, save for the energy constructs he creates for the purpose.
History;
The legacy of the Legendary Dark Knight was at an end. The demon prince, Mundus, had merged the realms of his unhallowed home with the human world, and now ruled both with an iron fist. Humanity lay pacified, prostrated before their new demonic overlords, their hope for salvation all but extinguished.
The Lord looked upon his creation... and it was anything but good.
To an extent, He blamed Himself for what had transpired. Had He acted sooner, sending some of His own warriors rather than keeping His distance and allowing the son of the Dark Knight to deal with the demonic threat that had cost him his life, the human world may yet have been saved. Yet lamenting the past would solve nothing; action to secure humanity’s future was the only step He must take.
In order to salvage His creation, He elected to send an angel to Earth to pass His judgement upon the demons; and Nemamiah, protector of the defenceless, was His chosen herald. Compassionate and protective towards the humans, yet a match for any Archangel that bore arms, Nemamiah would serve as both the front line of the Lord’s offence and a means of gauging the threat to determine if a greater show of force would ever be necessary.
When the angel descended, his task entrusted to him by the Father himself, he created for himself a human identity so that he could go unnoticed while he walked among the oppressed humans of Mundus’ capital city of Mortis. Bearing no weapons, but possessing the ability to fashion any he might need solely from his own holy power, Nemamiah – or David Blackmore, as he would be known within the city – steeled himself for the ordeals ahead. Not since the time of the Son had angels descended with such great tasks...

Abilities;
- Superhuman Strength – Nemamiah is capable of lifting weights far beyond the limits of normal humans. In his human form, his limit is 5 metric tons; in his angel form, this limit rises to 15 tons.
- Superhuman Agility/Balance/Equilibrium/Coordination – Particularly in his human form, the angel can move and twist his body in nigh-impossible ways, effortlessly performing myriad combat manoeuvres with deadly precision and evading any attack that should be sent at him. As a trade-off, the armour of his angel forms limits the speed of this masterful evasion in exchange for its greater protection.
- Superhuman Reflexes/Speed - Nemamiah boasts truly superhuman reaction times, capable of responding to events and attacks almost in the same instant they occur. He also possesses vast physical movement speed, capable of making short dashes with such celerity he appears to the human eye as little more than a blur, and of covering longer distances in mere seconds. Combining the two attributes gives him speed and precision enough to effortlessly dodge even fully automatic and multiple-shot gunfire at point-blank range.
- Superhuman Endurance – While not bordering on invulnerability, Nemamiah is very much capable of withstanding more physical injury and attack than any human could take, even in his human guise. His whole body is strengthened enormously, allowing him to endure huge blunt- and sharp-force trauma, to the point where small-caliber gunfire will not penetrate his skin and his bones can withstand over ten times the stress of a human’s before breaking.
- Superhuman Senses – Nemamiah’s five senses far surpass the capabilities of a human’s. His vision is perfect up to a kilometre, even in near-total darkness; his hearing range (that is, the range of frequencies he can pick up) is widely increased; and he can withstand much louder noises without detrimental pain or discomfort.
- Energy Constructs – Nemamiah’s control over the vast holy energies at his command is so fine that he can utilise it to construct just about anything he can think of. He primarily uses this to fashion weapons for himself in battle, but the only limitation to this incredibly versatile ability is his imagination.
- Holy Aura – Nemamiah can concentrate his aura of holy power and manifest it as a blindingly intense light radiating from his body. Though not particularly dangerous to greater demons, serving as little more than a deterrent to give him some space, lesser demons have been known to be utterly incinerated by simply being in close proximity to this great holy force.
- Sanctification – By performing a prayer in meditation, Nemamiah can bless an object or area of land. If a demon then makes physical contact with an object or land sanctified in this way, they will succumb to fierce burns and searing pain brought on by exposure to the holy power protecting it. The longer Nemamiah spends sanctifying something, the stronger the blessing and therefore the stronger the demon it can repel; to put this into perspective, seventy-two hours spent sanctifying a church and its grounds, with no interruption, would protect it with so strong a blessing that only a demon approaching Mundus’ levels of power could set foot upon the land. Also, Nemamiah can bless a demon with a temporary or permanent sanctification, allowing them to come into contact with sanctified objects or land without fear of injury. However, if a demon was strong enough to withstand a sanctified object’s protection, they could break the blessing with a counter-ritual of similar power.
- Angelus Aeternus – Nemamiah’s final transformation is comparable to a greater demon’s Majin Devil Trigger. Clad in an elaborate suit of armour, with enormous wings sprouting from his back and his whole body radiating holy light, Nemamiah’s powers are hugely enhanced in this form.
