The Daughter of Mundus felt a foreign presence prick at the back of her mind like an annoying insect that buzzes around your head, and won't leave you be no matter how many times you swipe your hand in its direction. Amoura didn't had her thoughts and memories probed by someone in a long time, so it had become less expected. What Zira saw in there, however, she did not know. A lot of her memories were accepted with open arms since there was no other way to fight back against it, and thus, became a part of her.
Did Veran somehow leave a piece of himself inside Amoura and attempted to transfer himself over to another? Possibilities with a deity of that status was almost endless and unsettling.
"What was what? Were you trying to look into my head? Bad place to be, kid."

“You know damn well what I’m talking about!”
Zira now had both Ebony and Ivory aimed upon the female with pure rage in her eyes.
“There’s no way you’re Amoura. It has to be some trick. My sister doesn’t have a single good bone in her body! She wouldn’t know anything about love or compassion it came up and bit her in the ass! You’re a trick! That all you are! A trick!”
Zira charged up both weapons with her power before unloading a torrent of bullets from both guns towards her in anger.

"Our senses are so acute, so in-tune with the world around us that pulling such a feat will eventually become second nature, even to you.’’
Those were the words uttered by someone close to her in the other world-one who helped her become what she is today: stronger, and more confident in herself as both a vampiress and a demon. At this moment in time, however, she was caught in between to train herself in one thing: to rely on other abilities should one find a way to cut her off from other "powers" at her disposal. None will be needed...yet.
The bullets whizzed past her head and other vitals whilst she skillfully dodged them-something she had to learn the hard way while fighting against her foes in Domino City.
"A trick?" She shouted, overpowering the gunfire, "No, what you saw was a part of a being that fused itself with me. One that completely shattered me." Amoura had, like earlier, vanished from the area, but her voice lingered strong as ever.
"What you witnessed in my thoughts is close to a fail safe or an attempt to latch itself to another host. I got used to his presence and torments. You, on the other hand, have not."
Amoura phased into view at her right, "While you were busy shooting at nothing, I could have easily critically injured you over countless ways, perhaps even killed if I wanted to. Yet, here you are in one piece. Is that convincing enough for you to stop wasting your time? Or are you going to keep missing me like earlier? I don't have all night."
